Kenny was born and raised in Washington, D.C. At a very young age, he discovered a love for boxing, which kept him in the gym and off the streets where many young men were getting into trouble with the law.

He continued to train as a boxer, and through his discipline and persistence, he was able to become a professional fighter. Kenneth "Kenny" Whack began his boxing journey at the age of 13 and went on to build an accomplished career in the sport. A Golden Gloves Champion and former professional boxer, Kenny earned the opportunity to compete for the IBF World Championship, demonstrating the skill, discipline, and determination that define elite fighters.

Today, he brings that same championship mindset to coaching, training boxers of all ages and experience levels. Whether working with beginners or competitive athletes, Kenny is dedicated to developing strong fundamentals, building confidence, and helping every boxer reach their full potential—inside and outside the ring.

Throughout his professional career, Kenny worked hard to maintain an excellent record. He has sparred with many of the greats who are household names in boxing today, while simultaneously racking up victories in his own career. Since his retirement, he has continued to train people who want to learn the "sweet science" of boxing. Kenny and Deon have known each other for years, and they train clients at the same gym, New Era Boxing Club. Kenny stresses fundamentals, discipline, and endurance, and his clients routinely refer new people to him.
